I read this on one of the message bds. i called pharmacist & she gave me the # to Phizer (800-332-1985) Phizer said a comparison was done by a Dr. Furberg & announced at a meeting in Amsterdam on Tuesday, Aug. 29,2000. He stated that the calcium blockers (Norvasc) compared to the other high blood medicines are inferior in the long run in preventing congestive heart failure....
Phizer WOULD NOT send any written info to me only to doctor. But, no, Phizer said Norvasc is not recalled.......
