Just how long to you surmise that such things as salt stay in the digestive tract before entering into the blood stream, so that an enema would remove the salt?

Laxatives and enemas should NEVER be used for high blood pressure control, and resorted to on a regular basis can be VERY unhealthy, disturbing needed normal flora in the digestive system.

Actually, most doctors know that most high blood pressure can be controlled by learning to relax the body through exercise and other relaxation techniques. But most people will not do those things, as they want something so they don't have to change...like a pill, or an enema.
So they get told to avoid things that exacerbate the blood pressure...which most people will not do, either.
