: I am a 19 year old male. And I'm training for a marathon, running about 45 miles a week. I am 6'4" 190 lbs. and I eat healthfully (little fast food, no soda, low salt)
: however my blood pressure is consistantly at or above 150/80.
: I am low stress (I think, and have been told this by friends)- 2 of my grand parents had high blood pressure. but my parents are both in excellent health.
: my resting pulse is about 47.
: what can cause this BP, and what can I do to help it?
I forgot to mention that I am trying acupunture because I don't want to be on drugs for the rest
of my life, which is the only other alternative for me right now with Western medicine.
