I am a 38 y.o. male currently experiencing problems with high blood pressure. I am 6'-0" tall, and weigh 295+/- lbs. In the past I started experiencing HBP but it went away when I started taking Lotenzin 20 mg. I started noticing that the medicine was making me very irritable. I stoped taking it for several months and I was doing fine. Just recently I started having the HBP again and severe. The Lotenzin has helped to keep it down. I notice that when I eat, the pressure goes up again. I am cutting back on eating, especially chocolates, sodas, cookies, etc. (I have a HELL of a sweet tooth). I would like to know which foods are likely to cause High Blood Pressure, and which ones are likely not to cause it. Any information will be appreciated. Please e-mail me. Thanx.
