I am now taking 3 blood pressure pills. I have had highblood pressure since 24. I have always controlled it with meds, but never really took my own bp. Well this is what is strange, when I go to the Dr. my blood pressure reaches 220/140, then it will drop down to 184/100. Of course he always takes this while he is telling me that I am going to have a stroke or a heart attack. Mine is hereditary. I bought a bp machine and would call in my results to the Dr. which were way lower than what he took. I could take my bp and it would read 135/90 on the left arm, then the right arm would read 150/112. I would wait 10 minutes and get a completely different reading. What is wierd when I come back from a brisk half hour walk my bp is usually
135/104 lower than when I am sitting LOL. I keep telling him that when I go to the office it will always rise higher and higher because of his attitude towards my high blood pressure, he is always doom and gloom. Then increases a dose or adds another pill.
I really don't think he will ever get my bottom reading down to the required 80.
