My doctor calls it "white coat induced hbp" It means that the bp goes high when a doctor or another in a white coat is taking it due to the stress. It seems your doctor generates a lot of stress in your case. Also, we have tried home blood pressure machines and have found that they read different all the time. Take it once at the same time or times every day and write it down. You will have a ball park figure. I am told that there is a different reading from left to right arm. Relax more. Meditation helps.
