On the advice of diabetic dr I asked my cardio md if changing my BP meds to na Ace Inhabitor would be a good idea. He asked why then said ok and changed me from 10mg. Norvac once a day to 12.5mg Captopril twice a day. After three weeks I felt headachie and went to test my BP it was 213/107. I fliped and went to the dr. office right away. He changed the dose to 25mg three timed a day.Four days later it was still high. I went back and he then put me on 5mg norvac once a day along with the 12.5 Capoten three times a day. My pressure is still 176/90.
Can any one tell me about these Ace Inhabitors, side effects?
I also take meds for diabetes,Glucophage, and Amaril could these combos have any effects?
