: I have been diagnosed with hbp,150/90+ and I find that on occations I get a pain in the chest that only lasts for a few moments but is very distressing. It is like a tender sort of twinge in rythem with the heart beat and lasts five to ten beats or so,then stops as quickly as it started.can any one tell me what it may be.I have been to the doctor and he just tells me it is indigestion, this kind of attitude leaves me feeling very alone.any help would be very greatfully accepted.

Anything I say should not be a substitute for advice from your doctors. If you have any doubt about the chest pains, I would suggest you get a second opinion. Probably a good cardiologist would be the best bet. It may be nothing but its best to be sure if you are in doubt.
