Anything I say should not substitute for advice from your doctor. The top number is the pressure in the arteries during the hearts contraction. The bottom number is the pressure in the arteries during the hearts relaxation.
This blood pressure is high normal or mild high blood pressure. One of the most important things is to lose weight if you are overweight. Also avoiding salty foods and table salt may help. Drinking much alcohol and any smoking of cigarettes will also raise the blood pressure. Regular exercise may help the blood pressure. There are other unusual causes of high blood pressure so I would suggest you keep an eye on the blood pressure and let the doctor know if its higher than it is now.
