: I wnt to know about norvasc for lowering blood pressure also any side effects
Anything I say should not substitute for advice from your doctor. The medication acts by opening the small arteries (if you push the same amount of fluid through a wider pipe the pressure will be lower). This medication can cause headache and swelling as the most common side-effects. Dizziness, flushing, palpitations, fatigue, nausea and abdominal pain are also possible. There are other uncommon side-effects that can occur. If you think you are having side-effects, I would suggest you call your doctors office to let him know whats happening.
