I have started Weight Watchers, exercise and have lost 3.8 pounds in a week. Coincidentally I had my BP checked by my doctor that week and was stunned that it was 140/100! I'm pretty depressed about it since I have been on an exercise regimen of 3x/week for a year. Can losing a lot of water weight in the beginning of a diet affect BP? 3 months ago it was 120/80? Also, I forgot to ask my doctor if I should still exercise (step aerobics?) Thanks in advance.
