My BP has been around 140/90 for the last four years as taken by the Red Cross while giving blood. At the beginning of this year, I started to see white spots and blurry spots in my vision.
While in Las Vegas last month I started to feel various pains in my left arm and chest. I took my BP which was at 240/160.
When I returned, I started the WeightWatchers diet plan using SlimFast for breakfast. I have started to exercise on a NodicTrak for 7 minutes a day in two 3.5 minute sessions with a 10 minute break in between. I have lost about 10 pounds in two weeks from this diet/exercise plan. But I have experienced two runaway bleeding nose attacks, one while working and the other in the middle of the night. In addition, since I started the diet plan, my eye lids have been "twitching" endlessly.
My doctor says that my blood test reveals a "fatty liver". He suggested that I go on medication if after two months my BP doesn't come down from the diet/exercise plan.
My question is whether the combination of the SlimFast/WeightWatcher plan is a good idea? Could it be contributing to the nose bleeding? Am I losing too much weight too fast? I started the diet at a weight of 267. I am a former body builder and tend to be aggressive in my exercise plan and wonder if that is causing the nose bleeding. My BP every morning for the last two weeks has gone from 165/100 to 150/90. Is my body freaking out from the drastic changes?
