: My mother is being treated for high blood pressure
The "natural" methos that worked for me was to take high glycemic carbohydrates out of my diet. These were mainly bread, potatoes, oatmeal, and anything with sugar in, eg candy, chocolate, soda etc. This normalized my blood sugar and brought blood pressure down by 20-30 points in 1 month.
This is commonly called "syndrome X" "Hyperinsulinemia" or "pre-diabetic". There is a bodu of knowledge that acknowledges this condition, but many doctors are completely ignorant on the subject. As a bonus people do lose weight also.
