Well I have one too. And what you do is when you hear the first thump, this will be your top number. When you hear no more thumping (pulse) this will be your lower number.

It takes practice to get it right, so hang in there. I have been doing mine for about 3 weeks, now and I still have a hard time. But
you will get it.

Any advice I have given should not be used as a diagnosis, that can only be made by your physician.
