I'm a little scared..all my life my bp has bounced around borderline...medication always sends it too low...I started monitoring at work per doctor's request. today the nurse wanted me to go to the hospital -190/130 at noon...I went from 135/93 in a.m. to 163/11 to 171/110 to the 190/130 and was back down to 130/89 tonight. This is the same pattern that happened yesterday...I am a 49 yr. old special education teacher and nothing really appears to shake me visably at work but the doctor thinks it's job stress related. What is going on? I feel fine except when it drops on bp meds and goes too low. I only weigh 105 so weight isn't a problem. I can't believe that it is as serious as the nurse said because I felt fine...any suggestions as to why it varies so violently and any first hand advice would really be appreciated.
