I am a 44 years old and I have not long been placed on Prinivil blood pressure medication. My highest reading was 150/100 and I am recovering from a stroke although I dont know what it was before the stroke. I believe that a normal reading should be around 120/80.

You are right, both high blood pressure and stress will put you at greater risk of a stroke. If your blood pressure gets too high you may get TIA's or mini strokes.
