: I finally called the doctor..he heard my numbers at noon during the work week and decided to attempt controlling anxiety before attempting bp meds...the fluctuations during the day make bp meds difficult. I already take zoloft successsfully for depresion and he added buspar increasing to a dosage of 15 mg 3x daily..any feedback on this program? Anyone else having a similar experience? What can I expect?

i response to your questions i can relate what i have been experiencing. i am 33 and have always had bp in the range of 110/70. on one occasion i had a reading of 136/96. the doc was upset so it upset me. i went to other doctors with bp ranging from 120/80 to 140/105. not as high as your bottome number but high for me. anyway, just this morning after ranging in the 140/100 for over a month. i broke down and took half a xanax before. my bp was 119/78 yeehaaa!!! i never realized anxiety could have that large a bearing on your blood pressure. the more you think about it the higher it will go.
