: I have been on lipitor for the second time for a few months now. I have muscle pain in both knees, ankles hips, and even my elbows. Is this common? Does it get any better. Without lipitor my count is almost off the charts. Does the fatigue ever cease?
Hi Debbie.I was on Lipitor for about 1 1/2 years.Over time my shoulders were sore,my neck was like a board and my foot hurt.My arms and hands were tingling.I am 47 years young and i thought my body was going thru the aging process.I finely figured it out.i believe it was the Lipitor. It has been 3 weeks and i am seeing a big improvement.I am no longer taking the medication and i have gone on a campaign to loss some weight I am happy to say i have lost 7 lbs. and i am eating much better, more fruits and veggies and beans and a tablespoon of Flaxseed oil every day.I am also walking more often,so i hope by making these changes that my count will go down.My next test is going to be in April 2001.This is a relly good site for feedback from ohter people in the same condition as we are.Keep the faith and keep active.
