Can U ask your dr. to try you on something else? I had terrible stomach problems and weakness while taking Lipitor. Dr. sent me for all sorts of GI tests, but thankfully nothing wrong. He finally gave in to my request and took me off it. After being off for 8 weeks my numbers went up again, even higher than when I started. Now I am on Baycol, and with a new dr., and I seem to tolerate it a little better. Good luck!
