I got some lab work in and I have 345 in triglycerides; 30 in HDL; 73 in LDL and 172 in total cholestrol. My thyroid levels were mildly low. Only one time before in my life did I have a high reading in cholestrol and that was before my thyroid surgery and it was 227. Since that time, I have gained about 60 pounds and lost 20. I have normal blood pressure and in addition to my thyroid med, I take calcium 4 times a day , magnesium 4 x a day, and prescription vitiman d due to complications from thyroid surgery. I also have some mild arthritis in one of my feet from surgery as a child so I often take an aspirin which works best for me for pain. I am 39 and I have been trying to work out more. I know I have to lose this weight. I am allergic to fish, eggs and nutrasweet. I am trying to figure out what can I add to raise the HDL and lower the triglycerides. I have a doctor's appt on the 9th so I know I am going to have to change my diet. I don't cook much. Any help will be appreicated. Don't try to sell me stuff though.
