I am a 43 yr old female with very high cholesterol. My doctor wants to place me on Baycol, a cholesterol-fighting drug. One of the side-effects is muscle pain. I had a severe case of fibromyalgia 12 years ago, but thankfully recovered completely. I am worried that Baycol may cause a relapse or that I may be more prone to muscle pain because of the previous diagnosis of fibromyalgia. Does anyone have any experience with having fibromyalgia or having had it, and taking Baycol. I'd love to hear from you. Thanks.
