I am 32 years old and I've had cholesterol above 300 since I was 21 years old.
Just yesterday I had my first Stress Echo and the doctor said everything seemed fine.
I have been prescribed Lipitor for many years but I have never taken it. I am afraid of the side effects.
For about 5-7 years I have been taking supplements including: Vitamin E, Oilve Oil, Niacin, garlic, B complex,
B6, copper, iron, zinc, vinegar and biotin.
I do not exercise as much as I used to but my cholesterol was just as high when I ran daily.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I would prefer to use natural remedies instead of taking statins. I have heard of
many side effects from taking them.
Presently, I am considering taking pectins and psyllium to help reduce my cholesterol levels.
What should I do?
I eat quite healthfully but I am not a vegetarian. My mother had a triple bypass when she was 49 so I'm sure heredity has much
to do with my condition.
I would appreciate any recommendations that you may have.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask them.
Thanks,Ron
