I got the news last week that my cholestrol readings were: Total 283, HDL 37, they didn't give me my LDL, a ratio of 7.6 and triglicerides were 522. My triglicerides went up from 78 a year ago. Your message board has been real interesting. I am looking for information, ie books to read, cook books to buy, and generally some support and knowledge. I 45 and this is new to me. Unfortunately I have THE BAD GENE. This is family related. Any info would be greatly appreciated. My Dr. put me on Lipitor, I have been on it for only 2 days. Thank you.
