Hi, wonder if anyone can help. My mother has just had her Cholesterol test results and was told that her Total Cholesterol level was 6.9mml/l and Triglycerides level was 1.4mml/l can anyone tell me how these levels compare to the standard mg/dl measurements. Would this be 690?? Is a level this high possible? She is not overweight, doesn't smoke and eats a fairly healthy diet and walks a lot. I have told her to go back and ask the doc for levels in in mg/dl and also for HDL and LDL levels but her doc doesn't seem particularly helpful.
