I have always had allergies to pollen, dust, and foods all my life and have been to many allergists
during my 48 years. Starting about 6 years ago I have become chemically sensitive to many things.
These include most fragrances such as perfumes, cleaning solutions, cigarette smoke, copy
machines, air freshioners, and even the carbonless paper I get as a receipt from the doctor's office!
I have tried many doctors of all types and have used countless eyedrops, antihistomine blockers, and
allergy shots which in some cases made me worse! My symptoms are sever eye burning in both
eyes similar to slicing onions, followed shortly by sever headaches around the eyes and in the
sinus area. This all takes place in a matter of minutes and can last for hours or days. I work in an
office enviroment and deal with people all day. All I need is one person with a colone or perfume walk
past me and I am shot for the day. I come home from work and try to sleep with a cold compress on
my eyes. I get little sleep many nights and in the morning the nightmare starts over again. Does
anyone have any ideas as I am at risk of loosing my job and am desperate.
