: I have always had allergies to pollen, dust, and foods all my life and have been to many allergists : during my 48 years. Starting about 6 years ago I have become chemically sensitive to many things. : These include most fragrances such as perfumes, cleaning solutions, cigarette smoke, copy : machines, air freshioners, and even the carbonless paper I get as a receipt from the doctor's office! : I have tried many doctors of all types and have used countless eyedrops, antihistomine blockers, and : allergy shots which in some cases made me worse! My symptoms are sever eye burning in both : eyes similar to slicing onions, followed shortly by sever headaches around the eyes and in the : sinus area. This all takes place in a matter of minutes and can last for hours or days. I work in an : office enviroment and deal with people all day. All I need is one person with a colone or perfume walk : past me and I am shot for the day. I come home from work and try to sleep with a cold compress on : my eyes. I get little sleep many nights and in the morning the nightmare starts over again. Does : anyone have any ideas as I am at risk of loosing my job and am desperate. : Bob Try an endocrinologist for a second opinion! It may be Grave's or other thyroid problems. Maybe. Worth looking into.
