I am very concerned about my 4 year olds adrenal gland function. He son tested very low for cortizol along with magnesium and sodium. His nutritionist has put him on a new B6(100mg) and mag. glycinate(200mg). Is this something I should continue with the nutrionist with, or see our endocrinologist? I should mention that my son is also on an anti yeast and bacteria treatment and diet. he is also on a gluten free diet. His ammonia is also high and his carnatine is low. He also has high amounts of aluminum. I feel that he has some type of autoimmune dysfunction, possibly attributing to his autistic condition. I would greatly appreciate any feedback.
