My father has been fighting this disease for about 27 years. Only 2-3 yrs ago was he diagnosed with the pyroderma. The predinsone is the only thing that will clear it up. But taking the predisone for a long periode of time will cause osteoperosis, intestinal problems, and more. But if any of us had this disease we would rather deal with the side effects of the predisone than to go through the pain that the pyroderma puts our family members through.
