: My best friend has been afflicted with this disease for over a year now. She has been put in the hospital four times, and was just put back in last Saturday(5/27/00). She is getting worse and worse and her fammily and her doctors do not know how to treat it. She has open sores all over her legs and arms. Her blood pressure is 60/40. In January, the last time she was in the hospital, her kidneys failed. She is in so much pain that she cannot even walk. She is only 26 years old and needs help!!!! Please respond if anyone out there knows how to help!!!
I have a doctor friends whom is married to a lady who suffers from lupis another autoimmune disorder. He said that they are making great progress with her by using bone marrow transplants! i am not familier with pyroderna gangrenosum but you might address this with her doctor.
