This is the first time I've logged onto this site so I'm not overly familiar with how it operates. My friend has been diagnosed with hemolytic anaemia and we are both quite ignorant of the disease. She has been on the steroids twice, both for one week, but although they were relieving her of the symptoms whilst she was on them, they have failed to relieve them altogether. She now experiences pain in her back, fatigue, joint pains and has a yellow tinge to her skin and eyes.
What we'd like to know is, what can be done now? She apparently has a normal sized spleen. Also, what are the possibilties of her children being born abnormally, if she is able to have children at all?
I would greatly appreciate any feedback on my questions because we are both at a loss. I have enclosed my e-mail address.
Thanks ever so much,
