Hi Sheryl, I think the only thing I can offer you is hope. I am nearly 21 years old and also suffered from ITP as a child and withstood years and years of blood tests and hospital visits. I can now happily say that I am free of ITP from about the age of 7 if I remeber correctly. I do get sick often though with autoimmune diseases such as thyroid problems, glandular fever etc . .but I am one of the lucky ones. Best of luck to you, your family and your little girl, and may she grow to be as old and as cheeky as me. Just remeber .. no matter how dull the day . .the sun has to shine eventually. Love Megan
