children biting

My 2 year old son bit a child at school. My child is completely healthy and our doctor says there is nothing to worry about. He did break the skin on the other child, but there was no blood at all, as witnessed by 4 teachers. However, the child apparently broke the skin and bled while he was eating dinner that evening. His parents said he came down with a fever about 2 days later. My son has no physical problems whatsoever, and our doctor faxed over a statement to the parents stating that and he has always been extremely healthy and his immunizations have always been up to date. My question, the other parents are now harassing us and apparently my doctor also. In the state of California, can they force us to put him through blood testing? My doctor says that if there was no blood, he would not be a bit concerned if it were his child. And if there was blood, then the child who bled should be tested. Any opinions? These people are keeping me up nights worrying what they will do next.
