: First diagnosed at age 8, now at age 52 I have a reoccurance. In my leg. Would like to talk to others who have osteomylitis and treatment options
I had it, staph, resistant to most antibiotics, in my leg, femur bone.
Had a draining sinus in thigh.
Looked like an ant's nest in the picture of it.
Was over 20 years ago.
It was scraped out, left open to heal from the inside up, and later the scar was revised.
It broke open and some dead bone came out, healed and never have had a problem since.
BUT!
Before that I was taking large ammounts of brewer's yeast in orange juice every day, for
a few weeks, took vitamin E and other immune system building nutrients.
Also, had a lot of people praying for my healing. It was healed against the doctor's prognosis.
It can happen for you, too.
