: I have a couple of questions about cervical dysplasia if anyone could help me it would mean so much!
: Ok i'm 21 found out i had dysplasia about 7 months ago doctor done a colposcopy biopsy on me! said i was clear from it! went to another doctor and he done another pap and said it was still there so he wants to do the colposcopy on me again ok i ask him if this was from a std he said their wasn't any sign of hpv in the tests So why do i have this? Then he told me after the biopsy was done he was going to cut out some of my cervics if it was cancerous what will that do to me will i been unable to carry a child? if not will it be hard to carry a child to term? need info on that...i have been trying to get pg for 5 years is this stopping me from getting pg? What is going on with my body? Does the shot hurt when they give it 2 you in the cervics??????????????????????????????????????????
Hi. I also had cervical displasia with no HPV. The I was treated with cryotherapy (freezing) and now get clean paps. I was told that treatment should have no affect on fertility, but laser cone therapy does weaken the cervix just a bit. I would investigate a little more about them cutting into your cervix though. Is it just a biopsy, or do they want to take a whole layer or chunk out ? Just a snip from a biopsy should be harmless. You are young and have plenty of time for babies, so make sure you take care of this first. If you started trying five years ago, wouldn't you have been sixteen ?
