: : My boyfriend and I have been trying to conceve for about a year and no hope. If anyone has any advice it would help so much.
: : Thank you
: You should have your OB/GYN refer you to an infertility specialist. Your problem should be something very simple like a bacterial
: infection that you are unaware of. A friend of mind had this problem and once her and her husband took medication to clear it up
: they conceived within a month or two. It could also be a combination of small things that only a specialist would treat you for.
: Good Luck!
I would definately see my ob. and get your hormone levels checked (FSH, LH, Estrogen, progesterone, and prolactin. It may be as simple as charting your Basal Temp. Have you tried that? In addition, your boyfriend should have his sperm checked. It cost my husband and I about 70 dollars but well worth it to rule that out. I myself have low estrogen most likely related to years of bulimia and as a result, I don't even have a period (once last year). I am trying to do it all naturally for now. Using CLomid (which I did twice) did not work and seems useless for me. I am just waiting for my body to rebound on its own. I sometimes feel like I am twelve years old and waiting for my period to start when everyone elses has already. Anyway, if your cycles are normal and you are still not getting pregnant, definately get those blood tests done and his sperm checked. Good Luck, don't give up, and pray.
Much love to you and yours,
