: My husband and I have 2 daughters and for 2 years we're been trying to conceive another. iIwould like to know if anyone has tried herbal remidies to regulate periods, because mine are irregular. Pls. give em some advice. Thank you
I am not a dr. or herbalist but this is what I used successfully to get pregnant-Vitex Agnus Castus (aka Chasteberry) for balancing hormones, Wild Yam Root for liver cleansing, Evening Primrose Oil for omega fatty acids, Kelp to help regulate thyroid, Vitamin E for both spouses and a good multivitamin. Good book- Herbal Healing for Women by Rosemary Gladstar. Make sure to read the Materia Medica at the back of this book for info on the herbs. I also drink raspberry leaf tea (or Pregnancy Tea by Traditional Medicinals) and Nettle Leaf, Oatstraw and Green Tea. Other herbs I have seen mentioned include False Unicorn Root and Red Clover. I also have a friend who just had a baby thanks to Progesterone Cream. This took her about a year and she used herbs and vitamins as well. When I followed my program from above my cycles slowly went down from 60 days to 32 days, when I conceived. This took 5 cycles. I tried to eat whole natural foods. I found most of my information at the local library. Good Luck!
