Me and my wife have been married 12 years and have had 2 miscarriages. I can relate to everyone here because I have been very depressed. I long to have a baby and as we near 40 we are feeling desperate. We have been consulting a specialist for 6 months and have been thoroughly tested. I gave up smoking 5 months ago(highly recomended guys-nicotine kills the sperm count.) I guess the reason I am writing is for the guys. I know how hard it is on the male psyche to admit you can't get your wife pregant-do not wait like as long as I did. Infertility is very common in males(esp smokers). And don't give up. You and your mate are in this together. Once we grieved over our last miscarriage I feel we were able to strenghten our bond. You have to realize that no one is at fault and that both parties hurt. Well sorry to ramble and I hope everyone achieves their wishes.
