I used the monitor when I was seeing my OBGYN. If I was more informed then, I would have timed the IUI to 36 hours after my first morning of Peak then, another one 12 hours later. I didn't need to use it with my fertility doc because he controlled when I ovulated by Profasi injection then, he did the IUI about 40 hours later. The ultrasound showed I already released an egg so, we timed it right on. (you can fertilize the egg 12-24 hours after it has been released). See, you are working with a time constraint because the sperm only live 10-12 hours. To have a higher chance, you should have 2 IUI's 12 hours apart, then you know you'll catch the time. This is of course your doc isn't follwing your follicles by vaginal ultrasound. Much luck to you--Deanna
