glucophage/clomid/hcg inj/iui does it work?

hi just went through my first cycle of all these drugs and had my iui done 1 week ago and i have to wait another eight days to find out if im pregnant heres my question does the hcg levels because of the injectable stay in your system long? couldnt wait and took two pregnancy tests and both came out positive could it really be?????
