: I have been diagnosed as having polycystic overies and one of my fallopian tube is damaged.I want to know of anyone who has the same problem and who have successfully had babies and what treatment was taken to achieve pregnancy.
I am going through the same thing right now, We have been trying to conceive for about 5 years and have been seeing a fertility doctor for 2 1/2 years. After being on Clomid for some time, I found out in December that I was pregnant. Unfortunantly, the pregnancy was in the tubes and I had to take Methatrexate to miscarry. To my sorrow, this happened for the second time about 4 weeks ago. This time I miscarried on my own however. Both ectopic pregnancies have been in the right fallopian tube. My only hope before going to IVF (which I can't really afford) is that I will get pregnant from my left ovary and fallopian tube. My doctor tells me that there is no way to tell when you will ovulate from one side or the other. I am afraid of another ectopic, yet I don't want to stop trying either.
I am very discouraged and confused!
