I too was just diagnosed with poly cystic overies, but I can't find any resouces to learn more. my cycles average 6 months apart. I was told years ago (when I was 19) that I was just one of those people who can't have kids, and to look on the bright side,,, no "friend" to worry about. I'm 29 now, and just went to a teaching hospital's clinic and the doctor said that this is cured by weight control (I'm 40# over guidelines).. Now, I know I need to loose weight, but still, that seemed far fetched to me. What has anyone else heard? Does anyone know any resources (paper, print, people...) with information?
