: Thank you for your reply. You had a lot of interesting information to share. I called my OB the other day and asked about the Progesterone and she gave me an RX for it. She didn't seem overly confident that it would help, but I do know someone who tried this and it worked right away. With your progesterone supplements, have you experience any side effects? I am just thinking, "what the heck" I am going to try it. We have had other tests, husband got tested, I have had an HSG, all normal. But that was according to my OB. Maybe I should question that as well? Let me know how you do.

Christie -

I haven't experienced any side effects from the progesterone, other than it made my cycle longer (which my doc had warned me about... so I didn't get excited when I was late). I had to go in for a blood pregnancy test to confirm I definitely wasn't pg - then I could stop the progesterone for that month (doctor's office said it could take a day, up to a week and a half for my period to start after stopping the med. It started two days later.) This is only my second month. I'm taking suppositories. Is that what they have you taking?

Had an ultrasound yesterday and everything is looking good - uterine lining, follicle size, etc. I would really recommend you see a specialist, if you aren't already. And, get another blood level check for your progesterone after this cycle (around day 21).

I, too, was incredibly frustrated. I saw my regular OB for way too long. All tests were coming back normal. He didn't really seem to concerned, either. Finally I went to a specialist - it was the best move I ever made. I finally feel like I have some control and that I'm getting answers!

Let me know how it goes!
