I too had severe pain on and off my first year after going off the pill. I had a sonogram once and it showed 7 cysts in all (4 on one side, 3 on the other. I was told to take warm baths and take tylenol for the pain. But that your body needs to absorb them. I was in severe pain for about 1 week, then it subsided. I don't think what you are experiencing is ovulation pain, but the pain of the cysts. There really is nothing that can be done about them, unless they don't go away. I found laying on my back on the floor helped alot along with the warm baths and of course the tylenol.
