: Hi. I am 28 yrs. old. I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years ago. So, of course I have a very irregular period -- almost nonexistent (I only got it when I took Provera or birth control pills). I was seeing an infertility specialist who put me on Provera and Clomid. I was up to 200 mg when I gave up. I of course went through the series of blood work...and of course everything is in "normal" range. I'm ready to try again. Is there anyone out there who has PCOS, with normal bloodwork and who has any suggestions for me???? I don't want to give up again...I don't think I can take the disappointment again of negative pregnancy tests...HELP I have a friend who has PCOS really bad, and she had nonexistent periods too. Well she just had her first baby a couple of monthe ago. She started out doing the clomid thing through her GYN, and had a lot of problems. Finally after almost a year her GYN sent her to an infertility clinic, and they put her on perganol ( I am not sure that is how it is spelled) Anyway clomid does not work on everybody, and maybe you should ask your doctor about some other drug options. Good luck! Lauri
