: : It seems so "low-tech" Has anyone conceived using this method?
: :Wendy,
: I'm not sure if it works, but I know it hasn't worked for me. I have taken clomid for four months now and recently purchased the fertility monitor. I have not tried it yet. It's the rave all over the stores and on TV.It's expensive but if it works then it will be worth it. How long have u been trying TTC? Good luck

I have charted my temps since last May and I did indeed get PG in December 1999, but miscarried. I also used ovulation predictors, but not the month I conceived. Only temps! So it can work once you get the hang of it. I did monitor my cervical fluid too, though. Which is also low tech. I think, if your cycles are realatively normal and consistent, once you have charted a few months it is easy to do and will help! If its too hard to figure out, use a service like Fertility Friend.com. I used it the month I conceived and it is so much easier to have the program interpret your temps than to figure them out on your own sometimes. I am just lucky my cycles are very predictable, but not all women's are! Good luck!
