I also have PCOS and did not have any success taking Clomid. I was taking 150 mg while taking Metformin and did not have a single follicle develop. However, I believe everyone responds differently and according to my RE, it's worth trying Clomid again after having been on Metformin for 3-6 months. I have not yet conceived, but have moved on to an injectible drug called Follistim and am having tremendous success in producing eggs with it. Good luck to you!
