: I too was just diagnosed with poly cystic overies, but I can't find any resouces to learn more. my cycles average 6 months apart. I was told years ago (when I was 19) that I was just one of those people who can't have kids, and to look on the bright side,,, no "friend" to worry about. I'm 29 now, and just went to a teaching hospital's clinic and the doctor said that this is cured by weight control (I'm 40# over guidelines).. Now, I know I need to loose weight, but still, that seemed far fetched to me. What has anyone else heard? Does anyone know any resources (paper, print, people...) with information?
i am also having polycyctic overies. i am taking the tablet called "glycomet" which will cure our problems. please if you interested suggest with doctor about this and get out this worries.good luck.if any quries please mail me friend.
