: I am on my second round of clomid. My first cycle was 27 days. Now I am in the second cycle and on day 33.I had a negative pregnancy test. Normally my cycles are 30 days. I am abit confused on how clomid effects the length of cycle. Does anyone have any information or experienced the same thing?
I am not sure what days you took the Clomid, but I take it(50mg) days 5-9.My doc said to expect my cycle to be about 33 days. It was exactly 33 days the first month, and 36 days the second month. The second month, I didn't ovulate.When you get your menses is dependant on when you ovulate. If you ovulate later, then you cycle will be longer.Hope this helps:)
