Hi everyone. I'm new here and don't know if this has been covered before, but I'd like to know how women dealt with having a job and going thru treatments at the same time. We just discoverd my husband has low motility (actually, NO motility - we're still trying to assess the problem, but at least we know they're alive) and because of this, I'm assuming that I will have to endure some sort of treatment, i.e.; medication and procedures which will interfere with my job. I work in an environment which will make it difficult for me to just "disappear" or take time off frequently without comment being made. So, I find myself in the position of having to be very honest about the situation (thankfully, my boss and I have a very personal as well as business relationship since I've been working there 13 years, but still...a boss can have just so much patience). Any suggestions? Advice? comments? Thanks!
