: well we just failed at just about the first hurdle. Needed to have a post coital test today and my hubby just couldn't perform to order.. he has a terrible case of white coat syndrome due to a long hospitalisation when he was younger.. just the thought of the test to come made it completley impossible. We have both spent a sleepless tearful night feeling failures and not knowing what to do next..it was so hard to sneak the time off work to go to the test and now its all for nothing. We decided to go anyway ...hoping that maybe the doctor will give us some good advice and make us feel better.... anyone out there got any great tips for 'performing to order'? : jenny Jenny, I know it's a huge burden on you but try not telling hubby. You both will have to concentrate of different areas during this whole experience. There is a lot of stress ahead of you so try to learn how to cope early. Make it as fun as possible and instead of dreading the procedure look forward to the success. When it feels all worth it its alot easier to handle. Stay Positive, focus on your relationship and what you want to achieve together. Good Luck, Natalie
